Musings #1

Hmm.....writing after a long gap.

This time I thought why not talk about something that struck me when I read the bible yesterday. Well, it was about our 'eye', and the 'sight' we see with it. I'm not going to intercept the verse but my musings after I read the verse.

Haven't we all heard that what's not caught in the sight of the eye has nothing to do with us? It only starts bothering us when we see them, we start to sense differently only then.

This whole situation can be of various kinds......

One, the sight we wish to see may be the feel good moments. Two, the kind we want to avoid and hope we don't experience. Three, the unexpected sights which further leads to more curiosity and exploration and finally the fourth, the expected sights.

Not going to explain each scenario, we all know what is what. It is wonderful that we have the ability to store the most beautiful sights locked up in our minds, we keep wanting and find comfort remembering them, and at the same time, we also have the ability to store the worst memories too. Just a quick reminder here, never can we avoid anything that's an after effect of our approach to things; there might be situations where nobody can help you and the outcome solely lies on your decisions. All of us cannot do the perfect planning yet, can stay positive about things.

It takes a lot of courage to see the positive in things and to hope for the best that may occur.

Another thing that strikes at this thought is the kind of impact all of us can create if we simply nod to the righteous, the truth and open our genuine reactions to society. The educated people in this country is definitely an asset to the world; sadly, most of the time we remain silent. Do not talk about the standards that are created and the divisions in existence, nowadays it's those things that come out but we did come a long way and reached milestones. It's nothing but the inner voice, the very humanity prevailing in us which has to come out, be it any situation. Also, remember how would we want to be treated when we experience the same situation.

An act of kindness can create a revolution but remaining silent can create the violation.
